It was a nice sunny day.
And immediately, I wanted to go out and explore the city more. To get a little bit more acquainted with the place that is going to be my home for a little while (hopefully).
I kept it relatively clean today and even had a nice dinner.
I think the rice was the piecing piece of the puzzle.
My mind was less foggy than general.
It was also a realization that networking will take a bit of effort and stepping out of your comfort zone.
Literally stepping out...
I want to share some pictures.
I find the picture below, a little confusing and trippy. Will people be able to tell what exactly is this a photo of?
Why you ask?
You will meet mainly 2 types of people out there in the wild.
First, the 9-5 people, who are in a traditional job. Please know that the term 9-5 is not meant to be demeaning at all.
Some of the best people I know are working a well-paying job who are very happy.
The second type of people can be self-employed.
Now remember the statement I made...
It is also helpful to have done something related to marketing.
I say it because it helps you to connect with a wider audience of people in your network. How?
Scenario: Your friend introduces you to a person in an event.
Case 1: The person has no idea about offline/online marketing. Then your marketing experience could be a an interesting conversation topic. (Of course it has to come naturally).
Case 2: The person is a business owner... or they work in a business, then it is most likely that they were involved in marketing. In this case, you can discuss marketing comfortably.
It helps to make a connection. Easily and naturally.

I will also start maintaining a page titled 'Don't be Stupid'.
The idea is to share my experiences which might align with the views expressed in the book "How not to be Stupid".
It is possible that I have some additional theories based on the same principles.
